Is a sub-group of the Georgia Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of America.  Our purpose is to preserve trails for horse and mule use in North Georgia.  Practically, this effort includes trail maintenance, advocacy with the trail using public, and-in our case-maintaining two important campgrounds in partnership with the US Forest Service.  We are doing important work.  You can help regardless of whether you are "horsey".  We share many trails with hikers and bikers and the trail users benefit as a whole.
