Equestrians in North Georgia need a voice!  Back Country Horsemen of North Georgia is that voice, a strong voice to speak for North Georgia's trail riders.
We are an exciting organization that is uniting ALL horse & mule riders, packstock users and anyone concerned about our forests and state lands.
One of our privileges as free Americans is to be active in the decisions that affect our lives.  If you enjoy riding your horses or mules in the North Georgia mountains and treasure the right to do so, you need to become a member of the Back Country Horsemen of North Georgia.  Be a part of a National Organization that works with land managers to construct and maintain trails and horse facilities across the country.  By doing our part, we can help keep our trails and forest open.
We need motivated people to assist us.  If you want to help us take care of trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest ,
contact us and join our organization.  Your support and membership is needed.
Our membership is only $30 for an individual, $40 for a family and $60 for a business membership which includes an ad on the sponsor page of our website, as well as the sponsor page of our newsletter.  Help us see that our children and grandchildren have places to ride in our Chattahoochee National Forest.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

  • To perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America's back country and wilderness lands.

  • To work to insure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use.

  • To assist the various government and private agencies in the maintenance and management of said resource.

  • To educate, encourage and solicit active participation in the wise use of the backcountry resource by horsemen and the general public commensurate with our heritage.

  • To foster and encourage the formation of new state Backcountry Horsemen organizations.
